When Jamie Pulver describes herself as “capable,” she means it. Since being hired as a marketing specialist at e-commerce appliance retailer The Range Hood Store in 2020, Jamie has demonstrated business-development skills that have increased sales and boosted company morale. Her initiatives—such as a design-consultation program that tripled leads in just three months and a contractor program that contributed to 10 percent of all sales in its first month—have also super-charged her career trajectory. She was promoted to Account Manager and then Director of Business Development, during which time she increased sales 500 percent year-over-year and created and managed a blockbuster sales team. Jamie is now Managing Director of the Reno, NV-based company; she helped launch its second website, Rustic Kitchen and Bath; and her 10-member sales team generates more than $1 million in sales every month.

A graduate of the University of California-Riverside, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Development while winning accolades for her work on public-service projects (including the Junior Lady Bird Johnson Award from Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful), Jamie admits the K&B industry is a perfect fit for her. “I can’t imagine myself doing anything else,” she says. Her favorite aspect of her job? “By far it is working with my team to offer our customers the best online shopping experience so they can create their dream homes,” she says. “I truly believe your home is an extension of who you are and being able to show your personality in your living space and provide yourself your own sanctuary in your home is so important.”

Fitness is also paramount in Jamie’s life and her second passion is working as a Pilates instructor. “I love being able to channel this hobby of mine and help others achieve their fitness goals,” she says. Jamie also loves being outdoors, taking her dog Maverick on hikes, camping and fishing, trying new restaurants and vacationing in Hawaii. And while fulfilling her career goals tops her must-do list, she also plans to make time to travel and experience new cultures and to start a family. “I have always wanted to be a mom,” Jamie says, “and nothing excites me more than fulfilling that dream in the future.”
