“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.” —Elizabeth Andrew
Volunteering is a passion and the kitchen and bath industry is lucky to have such engaging members who want to give back to their professional community. There are several ways to do this as highlighted below – through volunteering at a National level, chapter level or pursuing additional NKBA volunteer opportunities. Please review each in detail and see which volunteer opportunity works for you!
National Leadership
NKBA has several National Committees that offer ample opportunities for members to get involved. These include:
- Board of Directors (BOD)
- Leadership Recruitment Committee (LRC)
- Chapter Leadership Committee (CLC)
- KBIS Exhibitor Committee (KEC)

Additional Volunteer Opportunities
Throughout the year, NKBA hosts various programs and initiatives that require input and participation from our members. These may include virtual summits, speaking opportunities, short-term projects, or temporary committee assignments. Be on the lookout for these opportunities which are announced via NKBA.org or by email! If you have a volunteer position idea, please share it with us at info@nkba.org!
