Moen Incorporated
North Olmsted, OH
Right out of the gate as a 2018 new hire on Moen Incorporated’s Consumer and Market Insights (CMI) team, Calli Dieglio was tasked with a major project: creating a database that would make all of the North Olmstead, OH-based plumbing fixture company’s market research for the past 10 years—which included thousands of reports—accessible to the broader organization. “I was excited, but also nervous, to lead such a large-scale project,” she recalls. “The different teams that I collaborated with, from our IT team to our SEO team, gave me a better appreciation and understanding for the many moving parts within our company.”
This versatility, which Calli calls one of her strengths, helped her juggle full-time work and studies as she enhanced her bachelor’s degree in English and Marketing Communications from John Carroll University with an MBA, all while being promoted to Channel Marketing Manager. In her CMI role, Calli is currently responsible for managing a successful rewards program for kitchen and bath showroom consultants and is also leading a project to place new Moen merchandising units that display the brand’s kitchen and bath fixtures in nearly 700 showrooms nationwide.
“The kitchen and bath industry is an exciting place to be, not only for the beautiful style and design inspiration, but also the innovation happening around us each day.”
“The merchandising project that I am leading is updating Moen’s presence in many of our customers’ showrooms and also improves the overall look and feel of their showroom,” she explains. “Hearing feedback and appreciation from showroom consultants who tell me that the new display makes selling easier for them is really exciting.” Calli also says she loves working in a business centered around creativity, noting, “The kitchen-and-bath industry is an exciting place to be, not only for the beautiful style and design inspiration, but also the innovation happening around us each day.”
Calli, who is in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, Adam, lives in a 105-year-old house in a neighborhood full of century homes and says she’s “definitely a sucker for the beautiful woodwork and intricate character of traditional décor.” She also has a soft spot for animals—she has a cat named Murray and her retirement dream is to open an animal shelter for senior dogs and cats—and says her perfect day consists of working out, baking and reading, preferably outdoors. Then it’s back to work ensuring Moen’s merchandising vision reaches the consumer.
