Majestic Stone Imports

When you know, you know. Christopher Brown grew up in Indianapolis with parents who worked hard to grow their business, Majestic Stone Imports, and knew at a young age that he would one day join the company. “I’d like to think that when it became clear that my Little League baseball career was coming to an end and that I was going to have to pick a different career path, that I was set up to use my teambuilding and communication skills in the stone fabrication business,” he says. So during summer breaks as a teen and young adult, he learned the ins and outs of the company and the industry by working in installation, templating, fabricating and business development.

“My number-one priority is to make the customer my priority and going above and beyond in each and every project.”

After receiving a degree in Finance from The University of Dayton in 2014, Chris returned to his parents’ company “to help continue their success in any way I could.” Now, as Operations Manager, he enjoys overseeing all aspects of the fabrication process — even if that means getting to work before sunrise or staying well after sunset. “My number-one priority is to make the customer my priority and going above and beyond in each and every project,” he says. Chris also takes pride in having grown Majestic Stone Imports’ commercial line of business to more than 50 projects across seven states and partnering with a local homeless shelter, Wheeler Mission, to train and integrate individuals into Majestic’s fabrication workforce.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys playing golf, boating on a lake or vacationing at the beach with friends and family, and hanging out with his golden retriever, Jameson. He says he would love to travel more, especially when the reason is to watch collegiate or professional sports. Along with his dad and brother-in-law, Chris is intent on attending a football game at each of the SEC schools as well as attending each of the PGA majors.
