The Nielsen Collection of Interiors is an International and domestic award winning design team, specializing in kitchen, bath, and whole house renovations, while providing fresh modern and contemporary trendsetting designs to discerning clients who desire a home that expresses their identity.
As an advocate of design, we embrace all facets of design and in our mission to bring our client’s dreams to fruition, sleek sculptural lines, minimal aesthetics with neutral backgrounds, that can set the stage for almost any genre, are where our passions lie.
The world of design is in a constant flux and our team of skilled artisans strive to chart the course to stay ahead. We are continuously researching for the most innovative products and this is where NKBA membership plays a major role for our team. I grasp for knowledge and innovation and as a member of NKBA, I have implemented many times into my projects, information gained through the offerings of continued education and Knowledge Base courses, keeping us informed in the most pertinent areas of innovation. We must always stay educated, so as, to accurately inform our clients. Earning badges, of which I am working on now, will only elevate my design practice.
I really enjoy entering the competitions, from the KBB design competition to the Table Scape events held during National Kitchen and Bath week. My most favorite Table Scape event was my Halloween Glam table (AKA, Hollyween Glam) where skeletons were decked out in their finest attire, while dining within the most glamorous setting. Of course, they all have been fun! As strange a year as 2020 has been, our local chapter still provided an eventful virtual evening.
It is a great time to be a designer. There are many wonderful products to work with and every client is a new opportunity to create and share an idea. From a new generation of millennial clients, to those who want to enhance and enrich their lives through the design of Aging in Place, it is an exciting juncture for the industry. Most of all, I am excited to continue the next chapter…. creating another exemplary design! |
