2026 Kitchen & Bath Design Awards

Award Categories:

This local chapter student design competition conveniently corresponds with the nation wide design competition held by the NKBA. Students may not receive professional guidance, and WILL NOT receive professional feedback about their design entries after this local competition has been completed. The competition is divided into kitchen and bath categories, which must follow the floor plans & client storylines provided by the competition. Floor plans and client storylines are available for download via links at the bottom of this page.

Winner Recognition:

• First place $350

• Second place $225

• Third Place $100

Winners will be announced during the 2026 Eastern Carolinas Chapter Holiday Party. Winning projects displayed on the Eastern Carolinas Chapter social media pages.

In addition to cash prizes, category and specialty winners will receive:

• One personalized award

• One free ticket to Eastern Carolinas Holiday Party - Winners will be privately notified ahead of the event for planning purposes.
