Eastern Carolinas Chapter DESIGN COMPETITION:  **NEW APPLICATION DEADLINE: 09/28/2026**  Please note:  you can still use the existing application form even though the deadline states 9/4/26.  

2026 Kitchen & Bath Design Awards

Award Categories:

The competition is divided into the following categories. Please select the appropriate category below: 

1. Professional Kitchens

• Small (Under 300 square feet)

• Large (300 square feet and over)

Only residential kitchens are permitted in the small and large kitchen categories. Any style is acceptable (traditional, contemporary, luxury, etc.)

2. Professional Bathrooms

• Powder Room

• Full Bath

Only residential bathrooms are permitted. Powder rooms do not contain a shower or tub. Full bathrooms may be connected to and entered through the primary bedroom or located in a hall serving the primary bedroom as well as other rooms.

Professional Category Awards:

• First place $800

• Second place $500

• Third place $250

Winners will be announced during the 2026 Eastern Carolinas Chapter Holiday Party. 

Winning projects displayed on the Eastern Carolinas Chapter social media pages.

In addition to cash prizes, category and specialty winners will receive:

• One personalized award

• One free ticket to Eastern Carolinas Holiday Party - Winners will be privately notified ahead of the event for planning purposes.
