Outdoor Patio Social Mixer & Immersive Experience at the BSH Experience & Design Centre

Step into MA (間): The Space Between, and experience design through the senses! The NKBA BC Chapter, in partnership with BSH, invites you to a vibrant and holistic evening on the outdoor patio of the stunning 8,500 sq ft BSH Experience & Design Centre.

As a special highlight, Thermador continues to celebrate 110 Years of Innovation by presenting an exclusive experience with Kyoko Higa from Kado Studios (449 Hamilton St).

Kyoko will host a brief, captivating presentation exploring traditional Japanese design principles and cultural values. Discover how to create truly immersive spaces by designing for the senses—incorporating elements of wind, music, candles, and meaningful symbolism to build a holistic environment.

Throughout the evening, mix and mingle with fellow industry professionals while enjoying exceptional canapés and drinks, proudly provided by the Thermador Culinary Team, led by Executive Chef Deseree Lo.

ABOUT KADO STUDIOS:

華道 // kadō

– derived from the art of Japanese floral design. For us, Kado lies in crafting immersive experiences that seamlessly merge the allure of nature with contemporary artistic expression.

Based in Vancouver, BC, principal designer Kyoko Higa constantly shifts and experiments with floristry and walks a fine line between the contemporary and timeless world of design. Drawing from our Japanese roots tied to ikebana philosophy, Kado focuses on harmony, simplicity, seasons, symbolism and meaning to embrace the natural beauty of the way of flowers.

Available for full floral design services: arrangements, styling, botanical set design including floral sculpturing and installations. For bookings and more information, please email us [shop@kadostudios.com] or submit the contact form.
