EARN NKBA CERTIFICATION AT NO COST TO YOU
In partnership with NKBA | KBIS, Signature Kitchen Suite is sponsoring an annual grant to give eligible designers the opportunity to earn their certification at no cost. The 2024 NKBA | KBIS Certified Designer Grant Program is targeted to rising design stars in the kitchen and bath industry earning less than $75,000 a year, and will award 40 recipients who meet key criteria. (See below)
In addition to funding the program, NKBA and Signature Kitchen Suite will support grant recipients throughout the certification process with special events and awards.
Designers can apply for the grant by filling out the application here. The deadline for applying is June 15, 2024.
Program Requirements
To apply for this grant*, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be an NKBA member in good standing
- Earn $75,000 or less annually
- Currently design kitchens and baths
- Complete two-part exam process, review here
- Review Portfolio Evaluation checklist here: Kitchens | Baths
- Verify a minimum of (2) years industry related work experience with (1) of those years kitchen and bath focused
- Download and submit Work Verification Form within the application
