NKBA’s January webinars will focus on sales, marketing, and business plans.

By Debby Mayberry

NKBA’s free January webinar series, sponsored by Canvas, will explore both the design and business sides of sales and marketing. Within our existing design series, we will feature four webinars that address sales, social media, how to become a dynamic speaker, and mastering online web content video. Also, launching in January is NKBA’s new business webinar series, focusing on business content for anyone just starting a business, working as a sole proprietor, or seeking to increase growth for a small to mid-sized business. This month’s business webinars will address how to write a one-page business plan and a one-page marketing strategy.

Free Webinars From NKBA

Each month, NKBA offers free 60-minute webinars worth 0.1 CEU per event. This is an easy way for designers to collect the CEUs needed to maintain NKBA certification and learn great skills along the way. Participants must engage in 80% of the live sessions to receive CEU credit. All webinars begin at 12 noon, Eastern Standard Time. Here is the full list for January:

“Pull vs. Push Sales Strategies: Increasing Closing Ratios and Profit”

Today’s kitchen and bath customers don’t want to be sold; they want to be served. On Tuesday, January 10, Fred Reikowsky, Principal of Legacy Business Leaders, LLC, will explore the difference between pull and push systems, and how to deploy pull leadership strategies.
