A new report from the American Institute of Architects reveals custom residential architects have fared well through the pandemic, with kitchen and bath features evolving to meet new needs. For instance, universal design continues to be a high priority, outdoor cooking spaces remain the leading kitchen trend, large walk-in showers are the most popular bathroom feature, and larger pantries and touchless faucets are increasing in kitchen design.
