Professional photography is not required for the first round of the competition, which has an entry deadline of July 3. By Dianne M. Pogoda

There are just a few days left to enter the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s prestigious design competition, honoring the best designers in the U.S. and Canada.

All project entries must have been installed between Jan. 1, 2019, and July 3, 2020. The contest is open to all designers.; NKBA members pay a discounted entry fee of $129 per project, while non-members pay $199 for each submission.

The unusual circumstances of the past few months have limited designers’ access to many of their projects and jobsites. Therefore, NKBA will not require professional photography as part of the first round of judging for this year’s competition. Amateur photography, including images taken on a smartphone, are acceptable.
