You’ve done some gorgeous projects — why not get national recognition for them?
The NKBA’s professional Design Competition offers a chance to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes in 10 kitchen and bath categories, with the top two overall winners featured in a spread in Luxe Interior + Design magazine.
This year, the entry procedure has changed. To be eligible, a project must have been installed between Jan. 1, 2018, and July 11, 2019. The first step entails submitting two high-resolution photos (300 DPI), a concise design statement, elevations and floor plan to scale, a completed entry form and fee.
If your project makes it to the second round of judging, you’ll be notified on Aug. 5, and asked to upload additional materials to your submission folder for the final round of judging. These include up to 10 more high-res photos; a more detailed design statement; drawings (construction, floorplans, elevations, mechanical); specifications form; client property and photographer release forms; a business owner form; a headshot, and a brief biography.

All entry packets must be received at the NKBA Headquarters by Thursday, July 11, 2019, by 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
Winners will be revealed and honored at the 2020 Kitchen & Bath Design & Industry Awards on Jan. 20 at KBIS in Las Vegas.
