If everyone only showers, why keep the bath on the plans? In this course, participants will learn about materials, old and new, and manufacturing processes used to create the modern bathtub. We’ll discuss the bath as health maintenance equipment, practical wash product and emotional support tool.

The presentation will look at bath styles for every design aesthetic and size requirement. We’ll also spend some time discussing water conservation as it relates to bathing and showering. And round out the presentation with an overall look at square foot costs versus the space the bath occupies.

Learning Objectives:
1. Review of different bath manufacturing processes and materials.
2. Learn how bathing is an investment in overall health.
3. Discuss how design and fit matter in the bath, and the emotional draw of bathing.
4. Review what makes a bath a better water conservation opportunity.
5. Summarize overall thoughts on ROI for maintaining a bath on the floor plans.
