All counties in Texas are now eligible to apply for this disaster loan program.
While there are banks that do take applications for everyday SBA backed loans – this type is different; these are considered Disaster Loans as they are the result of your business being affected directly by the Covid-19 Virus requirements of operating your business during this time.
SBA Disaster Loan applications do not go through banks – business owners apply directly to the SBA. (https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/)
There is a set of documents that the SBA will require upon applying for these disaster relief loans – call them the “filing requirements.”
These 3 handouts attached below are something to help you navigate the process.
Note: Please follow ALL instructions and required information.
If you have missing information or missing documentation – this could cause your application to be put back into the que which could severely delay the decision process.
It is suggested that you set aside time to enter the information – and then go back and check it
All of the forms listed on the 3rd attachment below are available in the Disaster Loan Application Portal along with the information provide in the attached handout.
