Our very own Membership Leader, Rob Ross, hosted industry members, clients and friends at Classic Rock for the ultimate Classic Rock Experience. The program consisted of a Factory tour at Classic Rock’s offices in Harrisburg, followed by lunch and a presentation on The Power of Quartzite with Abiliane De Andrade, Natural Stones Technologist with a PHD in Geosciences from Decolores, part of Centrorochas Brazilian Natural Stone.

As this category of material continues to increase in popularity, Decolores was able to educate and explain how Quartzite is formed, how to use it, and how to care for it. The geologist shared and experimented with the group on how to identify the unique characteristics of Quartzite and how to identify it from other stones.

There is so much to learn about the beauty of Brazilian Natural Stone and we were so thankful for this opportunity!
