James McDonald is one of the outstanding young professionals in NKBA’s Thirty Under 30 Class of 2022, sponsored by Delta Faucet Co. and Signature Kitchen Suite. 

James McDonald works in management for McDonald Contracting, owned by his brother, Ed, a Thirty Under 30 alum from the Class of 2017. James manages 10 employees and subcontractors’schedules, ensuring projects are on-budget and on-time; visits job sites daily, and meets with new clients to develop and manage budgets and help with design decisions. He’s been VP atMcDonald since 2013 and has led nearly 200 K&B renovations over the past eight years, often with budgets surpassing $150,000 per project. He holds a Contractor’s License and Home Improvement Contractor’s License, and supports Arlington Eats, a food pantry in Arlington, Mass.
