Dear NKBA Kentuckiana community,

We are very pleased to announce our next guest speaker, the fabulous Ms. Jan Neiges.

Jan Neiges is principal of her namesake design firm in Denver.  She is a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer with NKBA, award winning and has been serving the industry for 20 years.  She has been elected to serve on the 9 Member Board of NKBA and was Past President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter.  She is on the Design Council for Arapaho Community College, lectures around the country for other Chapters and presents at local colleges.  She brings her 36 years of sales experience to the design industry by sharing her selling to process to help her colleagues succeed.

Our topic will be Selling to Design by NOT Designing to Sell.

As a kitchen and bath designer, Jan Neiges will share her process on how Selling to Design by NOT Designing to Sell has consistently increased her closing ratio and how she easily earns design fees within a 2 hour investment of time before she puts pencil to paper to design.  She will provide examples of the documents she shares with her clients, explain the communication process she uses that turns the prospect into a client and discuss the importance of why and how our role in the Design process needs to change in order to succeed.

Objectives:

  • Understand how NOT talking product can improve your sales technique
  • Learn the value in changing your role from designer to problem solver
  • Learn a new, refreshing, effective and proven method to get paid before you sell
