The NKBA Central New York Chapter is honored to welcome Christie Dixon, Designer at Upscale Remodeling, to her new position on the Chapter Officer Council.
Christie will be joining the council in January 2021 as the chapter’s Secretary / Treasurer. Christie graduated from Cazenovia College in 2010 with a BFA in Interior Design and a minor in Studio Art. In November 2018, she started designing at Upscale Remodeling Corp. where she became an NKBA member and immediately got involved in her local chapter. Christie serves currently on the chapter finance committee and has been working closely with Denise Miller, CKD to take on some of the workload during chapter meetings. Christie loves to learn, experience new things, and take on new responsibilities. She feels that by being a board member she will get to build new relationships and will be a great asset to the team.
Although we are saddened that Denise and David’s term limits have been reached, we are thankful for the professional insight they have brought to the council these past few years. As volunteers in the chapter, they have helped the Central New York NKBA become everything that it is today; and we are grateful for their guidance and advice in the years to come. Thanks to council members past, present, and future, the chapter is in a great position to take on new challenges and be successful in the next decade of design.
