The election results are in! Karen Ostromecki, Kitchen Project Specialist with Lowe's in Rochester, NY will become the NKBA Central New York Chapter's new Membership Chair in 2021.

Karen is an active networker and believes the benefits of an NKBA membership are invaluable to professionals seeking to learn and grow in the industry. Prior to Lowe's, Karen has worked in furniture, window treatment, and appliance sales; and spent many years designing commercial interior spaces for Fortune 500 companies, universities, and a convention center. She has a well-rounded background in design and understands the business well having worked in Washington DC, Boston, and Rochester. Karen has completed NCIDQ Certificate 024493 and is a LEED Green Associate. Before joining the NKBA she volunteered for IIDA. She looks forward to contributing her passion for the kitchen and bath industry and increasing membership in the NKBA to promote community and continuing education.

With the elections closed, all positions on the council have been filled. There are, however, several opportunities to volunteer! Are you passionate about the Kitchen and Bath Industry, and want to help? If you would like to assist the council next year or join a committee, please let us know!
