Join us as we welcome Maria Stapperfenne, CMKBD, CLIPP, back to meet with our Chapter. One of the most dynamic NKBA speakers Maria has agreed to hold a discussion with us, about how falls change lives. As designers, pros, and influencers in the design and material selections for homes, we owe it to ourselves to become more aware of things that we may have once taken for granted – helping people that are renovating make better, SAFER choices that will prevent falls and enhance their experiences in their own home!

Maria started her career in kitchens and baths in 1992, becoming a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer in August of 2015. In 2016 she also became a Certified Living in Place Professional.

She is the Manager of Tewksbury Kitchens & Baths, a division of Huston Lumber & Supply Co., and has a BA from Trenton State College.

Maria has been an active NKBA volunteer in her Northern NJ Chapter as well as on the national level, most recently serving as the 2015 NKBA National President. She loves volunteerism, learning, great design, is the mother of 3, and is a musician in her spare time.
