Verification Requirements

The NKBA requires that badge holders stay engaged in order to maintain their standing. Options for verifying engagement include:

  • Attending four NKBA industry–related events over a
    two-year period
  • Retesting
  • Attending four events will verify all of a badge holder’s
    badges. Badge holders can submit and track their events
    directly from their newsfeed page.

Approved events include:

  • Local NKBA chapter meetings
  • Voices from the Industry sessions (held during KBIS)
  • Weekly NKBA webinars
  • Industry-related training events (itinerary required)
