Ferguson Acquires Three: Ferguson Enterprises has completed the acquisitions of Bruce Supply, a plumbing distributor in the New York metro area, S.G. Torrice, a New England HVAC distributor and The Kennedy Cos., a waterworks distributor serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. The three have a combined annual revenue of about $450 million. KBB has more.
StoneWorks Names Baltzegar CEO: Shannon Baltzegar has been promoted to CEO of StoneWorks, a leading source for porcelain, quartz, granite, marble and tile for kitchen and bath counters and backsplashes, flooring, fireplace applications and more that is based in Beaufort, SC. Baltzegar, who is also Programs Chair for NKBA’s Georgia/South Carolina Coastal Chapter, brings more than 25 years of experience to her new role. She has worked in sales, design, administration, accounting and overall corporate strategy for StoneWorks, and for the past two years, she served as the company’s director of sales and design. K&B Hall of Fame Nominations Open: Do you know an individual whose invention, effort or dedication has changed the world of K&B? NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the 2024 inductee through Sept. 29. Since 1989, NKBA has honored individuals who have contributed to the growth and professionalism of the Association and the industry as a whole. Strasser Names Top Sales Exec: Strasser, a manufacturer of luxury wood bath cabinetry and vanities, has named Chris Chmura its national sales manager. For the past eight years, Chmura held sales management and other executive roles at Brasstech, a maker of faucets and fixtures. He began his career as a residential builder before transitioning to sales. At Woodinville, WA-based Strasser, he is now responsible for sales growth, market expansion, new products and business development. Learn more about Strasser here.
Karl Lagerfeld Maison To Do Kitchens: Karl Lagerfeld Maison, the home division founded by the legendary fashion designer, is producing kitchen designs and dining furniture inspired by the neighborhoods of Paris. Each collection will be developed and produced in partnership with a different guest collaborator. The inaugural line, based on the Quai Voltaire arrondissement, was created with renowned Italian interior designer Matteo Nunziati. It includes integrated appliances, Nero Antico marble, glossy black lacquered steel, aluminum lacquered column doors and Zimbabwe black marble. More info here.

Still Time for CEDIA: Registration is still open for the CEDIA Conference and Expo taking place Sept. 6 to 9 in Denver. CEDIA, the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association, presents products, expert-led learning sessions and innovations related to the smart-home technology industry.

Off to the Races With Kentuckiana: The 6th Annual NKBA Kentuckiana Chapter Classic takes place on Sept. 28, from 4 to 10 pm, at legendary Churchill Downs in Louisville. Gates open at 4 pm, the first race starts at 5 pm and dinner at the Chef’s Table Buffet on Millionaire’s Row is served at 6 pm. This is Kentuckiana’s Twilight Racing Membership Appreciation Night.
