NKBA’s inaugural Women 2 Women Leadership Conference (W2W) in Louisville, Ky. brought industry women together at the 21c Museum Hotel. The event celebrated the accomplishments of women in the kitchen and bath industry while offering attendees inspiration, mentoring and networking opportunities.

“I wanted to host this conference because I believe we are stronger when we understand how to build and learn through sharing and revealing who we are – in a safe, beautiful place where honesty and integrity are our guides,” said Suzie Williford, EVP and CSO, NKBA, and host of the W2W conference.

Day one of W2W kicked off with a welcome reception at the hotel’s rooftop patio, with attendees enjoying cocktails and a live band. NKBA’s Williford also introduced the W2W advisors, which include: Mary Putman, VP of Marketing and Brand for GE Appliances, Chas Daniels, Owner and President of Acero Bella, Marcia Speer, President of Poggenpohl, Cheri Phyfer, Group President of Fortune Brands and Sherry Qualls, CEO and Owner/President of White Good.

The next day participants attended a keynote by Sarah Robbins called “What It Takes” and other presentations. They also enjoyed activities such as bourbon tasting, yoga and dinner.

The event was sponsored by GE Appliances, Fortune Brands and Poggenpohl
