Martha Kerr, CKD, CBD

Each year, the NKBA calls for nominations for the Kitchen & Bath Hall of Fame, to recognize professionals who have contributed to the growth, integrity, innovation and highest standards of the Association and the kitchen and bath industry as a whole. Nominations are open from August 15 to September 30, and if a nominee is chosen for induction, a ceremony will be held at KBIS 2023 in Las Vegas during the Kitchen & Bath Design + Industry Awards.

We’re highlighting an NKBA Hall of Fame member each week, and today’s is 1996 inductee Martha Kerr, CKD, CBD. She dedicated her career to the betterment of the K&B industry and worked on the development of the Bathroom Industry Technical Manuals. She also assisted in the development of the Certified Bathroom Designer program. Kerr was the first recipient of CBD certification and the first woman elected president of the NKBA.
