Longtime K&B veteran Janice Costa has launched KBDesignersNetwork.com, an exclusive, members-only online community and product resource for kitchen and bath professionals.

Costa, formerly editor of Kitchen & Bath Design News, founded the site to offer product and industry information and networking online, mentoring and educational opportunities, a monthly product e-magazine and searchable directory and database for all its services. The site will also host discussions and “Ask the Manufacturer” forums, post interviews with industry pros and offer a quarterly e-newsletter, “Show Business,” to track the most innovative new products coming to market.

“During these challenging times, when everything seems to feel increasingly disconnected, it’s more important than ever for design professionals to build their network, increase their knowledge and find new resources that will help them re-imagine their businesses as we navigate a newly virtual landscape,” said Costa.

The KBDesignersNetwork Advisory Board includes designer, educator and author Ellen Cheever, CMKBD, ASID, CAPS, CLIPP; former KBB Publisher and Meredith Corp. executive Leslie Hart; designer and educator Mary Jo Peterson, CMKBD, CAPS, CAASH, and third-generation kitchen and bath entrepreneur, writer and rep firm owner Karla Krengel. Cheever, Hart and Peterson are all members of the NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Hall of Fame.

Last week, Costa welcomed NKBA’s EVP and CSO Suzie Williford for an in-depth discussion about KBIS and other topical issues. To watch the interview, click here and scroll down.
