Congratulations to Charlene Mathew, CMKBD!
For Charlene Matthew, an entrepreneurial design career was always her destiny. Her great-great grandfathers each established their own businesses, one of which supplied homeowners with wallpaper and interior paints, that remained in the family for generations. Her grandparents lived in a 1919 English Tudor home, and this inspired Charlene’s love for space planning.
She took interior design classes throughout high school and earned her BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her experiences led her to open her own company called Charlene Mathew Designs LLC, and she loves contributing to people’s design journeys.
She is part of NKBA’s Puget Sound Chapter.
