KBIS 2021’s an all-virtual format in February has understandably inspired many questions about how the new platform will work. Suzie Williford, NKBA’s EVP and Chief Strategy Officer, presented an informative webinar this week detailing the transformation of North America’s most comprehensive show dedicated to K&B.

Among the key points:

  •  KBIS will offer all the learning opportunities, product discovery and networking that you’ve come to expect at the show.
  • Exhibitors will present their newest products and technologies in virtual 3D booths, offering live chats and video tours.
  • The hallmark of this edition will be immersive, interactive events with opportunity for viewer participation and networking.
  • Attendees who purchase a Voices from the Industry Conference pass will have 24-7 access to webinars—  all of which will be on-demand.

“The key for us when planning the virtual show was to make discovery easy for you, so you can find the products, sessions and information you want easily, without confusion,” Williford said. “And yes, we heard you loud and clear: no avatars or crazy gaming effects.”

Other regular highlights of the show will be CEO Bill Darcy’s State of the Association presentation, and for the State of the Industry address, NKBA will welcome Kohler Co. CEO David Kohler. Winners of the professional and student design competitions will be honored at the annual Kitchen & Bath Design + Industry Awards, on Thursday, Feb. 11.

Virtual KBIS 2021 takes place Feb. 9-12 — providing an extra day of show time — along with some special preview events on Feb. 8. For more up-to-date detail on KBIS, please visit KBIS.com.
