Meet the latest NKBA Specialty Badge holders.
Congratulations to the following NKBA members on earning their Specialty Badges!
Rebecca Subbian earned three badges including Cabinetry, Floorplans & Specifications and Sustainability. Based in the Bethesda, Md., area, she’s worked in the design field for 12 years and has been focused on kitchen and bath for the last three. She’s most interested in pursuing projects involving Sustainable Design and wellness, or “biophilia.” Learn more about Rebecca here.
Eric Hansen, a fifth-generation builder who loves remodeling older homes, has earned the Remodeling Badge. He’s co-owner of Fresh Start Builders in Stillwater, Minn., where the focus is on remodeling older homes by adding new amenities and updating layouts while retaining their character. Melissa Longley added the Remodeling and Cabinetry badges to her credentials. She’s been passionate about interior design and remodeling her entire life, and she attended the International Academy of Design and Technology where she earned her Interior Design degree. She works as a designer for Longley Kitchens LLC, a family-owned and operated business in Fort Meyers, Fla. The company opened in 1952 in New Jersey where it remained in business for 57 years until relocating to Florida. Learn more about Melissa here.
