Emerald, the event producer, has cancelled the in-person trade show owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The CEDIA Expo, slated for Sept. 8-12 in Denver, has been cancelled as a live event and will move to a virtual format in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Show producer Emerald said this is due in part to the current status of the Colorado Convention Center as a medical care facility for non-emergency cases related to COVID-19; the latest federal measures, including guidelines on the phased reopening of the U.S. economy, and other restrictions.
The CEDIA Expo virtual experience will launch in September and offer session panels on hot topics, keynotes, product discovery, networking, an interactive expo hall and more.
The next in-person CEDIA Expo is scheduled for Sept. 1-3, 2021, in Indianapolis, home to the CEDIA Association.
