Don’t miss the next episode of this weekly series, diving into the advantages of e-design. By Dianne M. Pogoda

Thousands of viewers have tuned into the livestream and recording of “Brave New Business,” NKBA Live’s weekly forum, since its debut three weeks ago. This week, join NKBA CEO Bill Darcy on Thursday for a lively discussion on “Harnessing the Potential of E-Design.”

Darcy will welcome interior designer and e-design expert Jenna Gaidusek, founder and CEO of eDesign Tribe Inc. in Gainesville, Fla., and NKBA members Jeremy Bauer and Jason Clifton, partners in Bauer-Clifton Interiors, an interior architecture and design firm in Alaska. E-design might have been considered a convenience or even a luxury for some designers and remodelers, but it has quickly become a necessity in this current era of quarantine.

The panel will cover tips and best practices for digital marketing and communication with clients and potential clients, virtual design and managing a crew and a job site remotely, when the designer can’t be on site, owing to social distancing or actual geography.

Brave New Business is hosted live on Thursdays at 2 pm (Eastern Time) and features thought leaders across all segments of the business in a free online forum. They cover topics of critical interest to kitchen and bath design, remodeling, manufacturing and distribution, as well as survival tactics for small businesses and independent operators. These discussions share best practices, experiences and advice, and serve as networking opportunities.

The forums are Continuing Education Unit (CEU)-qualified, and are available on NKBA’s YouTube channel shortly after the live discussion.
