Suzie Williford, EVP & CSO of NKBA, will be the special guest of Interior Design editor in chief Cindy Allen on a special NKBA edition of Design TV.
The first in a series of 11 episodes with Williford will premiere on Tuesday at 1 pm (Eastern Time) on Interior Design’s Facebook Live. Allen and Williford will discuss the ongoing partnership between NKBA and Interior Design, and then introduce two NKBA designer members from Canada, who each took home prizes at the NKBA Kitchen + Bath Design & Industry Awards at KBIS in January. Nyla Free of Nyla Free Designs in Calgary, a member of the Prairie Provinces Chapter, took 3rd place in the Small Contemporary Kitchen category. Michelle Miazga-Hall, principal of Port and Quarter Interiors in Vancouver and a member of the British Columbia Chapter, took home honors for best overall bath and 1st place in the small contemporary bath category as well as 1st place for her design in the large contemporary bath category.
In fact, the seeds for this initiative were planted at KBIS, when Williford and Allen had a great conversation from the NKBA booth on “ID Live.” Now, the pair will meet each month for a lively, fun chat on a wide range of topics, from Association news to member spotlights and other subjects of interest to the design community.
DesignTV by Sandow is a brand initiative aimed at exploring today’s climate of working remotely. Brand leaders from Sandow properties Interior Design, Luxe Interiors + Design, Metropolis, Galerie and ThinkLab foster conversation and connection with industry luminaries and the global design community at large on Facebook Live.
