Surface industry veteran to lead Cambria’s business on the West Coast.
LE SUEUR, Minn. — Cambria, a leading producer of American-made natural quartz surfaces, has tapped Arik Tendler as CEO and president of Cambria – California.
Tendler joins Cambria with 30 years of experience in the surfaces industry. He was raised in a stone fabricating family that was one of the first fabricators for Caesarstone in Israel. He launched Caesarstone’s business in the U.S. from his base in California in 1999, and grew its business exponentially.
“Arik brings tremendous skill and experience to our Cambria leadership,” said Marty Davis, CEO and president of Cambria. “His vast knowledge of the industry and many excellent relationships will serve Cambria well. I’ve known Arik for many years — we’ve been competitors, personal friends, and now we become teammates at Cambria. His tremendous success precedes his joining Cambria, and he is a proven strong leader and an outstanding businessman.”
Tendler spent the past 20-plus years in the American quartz and stone industry and brings deep knowledge of the market; solid relationships with industry players, and the expertise to drive further distribution, sales and fabrication throughout the West Coast.
Before coming to the U.S., Tendler was a helicopter pilot in the Israeli army and then worked in the private sector under his father Zvi’s leadership. He initially will be based in Los Angeles.
Cambria’s stain-resistant, nonabsorbent natural stone surface is strong, safe, maintenance-free and easy-care. Headquartered in Le Sueur, Minnesota, Cambria is sold through an exclusive network of premium, independent specialty retail and trade partners that can be identified at CambriaUSA.com.
