The 2019 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the destination for kitchen and bath design professionals, today announced celebrity interior designer Kelli Ellis will host DesignBites, the high-energy “speed dating for brands” program showcasing the latest innovations and coolest designs at the KBIS 2019.
Known for her roles in TLC’S “Clean Sweep” and HGTV’s “Takeover My Makeover,” “Move or Improve,” “Celebrity Holiday Homes” and “House Hunters Renovation,” Ellis now stars in her own show on The Design Network, “Design Therapy.” Beyond her highly successful design career, Ellis is an artist, licensee, speaker, founding partner of Design Campus and author of the best-selling design psychology coaching book, Do I Look Skinny in this House?
Ellis will host DesignBites on the KBISNeXT Stage, February 20 at 12 p.m. The new one-hour action-packed format features 10 kitchen and bath brands each displaying one of their most innovative products in a three-minute presentation to the attendee and media audience, followed by a two-minute Q&A.
Exhibiting brands can apply now through November 30, 2018 by completing the DesignBites Application.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kelli to the KBISNeXT Stage this February. Her design flair and energetic personality fit perfectly with this program and she is sure to make DesignBites even more fun and entertaining,” said Brian Pagel, senior vice president, Emerald Expositions.
The 2019 DesignBites judging panel includes 2018 DesignBites participant Lisa McCarthy, southern regional manager for The House of Rohl; NKBA Insider Elle Millard, NKBA industry relations manager and members of the KBIS marketing team.
