It’s a happy forecast for the bathroom industry on all counts. The latest study by the Freedonia Group is projecting remodeling to continue to rise throughout 2022, with flooring and plumbing driving a large chunk of the growth.

In design news, this week’s spring High Point market saw the launch of some new collaborations including two by design icon Tony Duquette. The firm, now run by partner Hutton Wilkinson, recreated furniture and accessories from his own as well as Duquette’s personal collection for Pearson and for Maitland-Smith, respectively.

And because the week wouldn’t be complete without something transporting, take a look at IK Lab’s new gallery set in the jungles of Tulum, Mexico. The curvaceous, all-natural structure was dreamt up by IK Lab director Santiago Rumney Guggenheim, the great-grandson of art impresario Peggy Guggenheim.
