With hundreds of vendors in a sea of booths, and dozens of events slated wire to wire during KBIS 2018, how can an exhibitor capture the undivided attention of designers and retailers? One way is to offer a seminar on the spot.
NKBA-member exhibitors are invited to present one-hour sessions in their booths, providing Continuing Education Units about their products and services directly to designers, retailers and other attendees.
The NKBA is accepting applications now through Sept. 15 for this important program. It’s a great way to get in front of potential customers, offering valuable CEUs to members who are maintaining or striving for the next level of design certification. And it’s also a strong marketing opportunity to ramp up exposure for the brand, align the label with NKBA, illustrate the benefits of a product or service, demonstrate installation techniques or introduce the latest merchandise to kitchen and bath pros.
Among topics covered at past expos are accessible bath options in universal design, using virtual reality in the design process, custom cabinet design, differentiating your brand in the digital age, designing a functional outdoor kitchen, lighting trends and changes in illumination technology, kitchen ventilation trends, converting web-site visits into real leads, and more.
This exclusive opportunity is only open to NKBA member exhibitors. Vendors who qualify to present will get a special listing in the KBIS show directory schedule and on show signage on KBIS.com. Additionally, the NKBA CEU approval fee is waived for presentations at KBIS.
To qualify to present an industry-relevant session in their booths, exhibitors must fill out an official application, provide a high-resolution company logo, the presenter’s name, seminar title, and a 25-to-50-word description, including at least two Kitchen or Bath Learning Objectives, to the NKBA by Sept. 15. Approved applicants will be notified in early October. If your company plans to hold multiple presentations on different topics, a separate application must be submitted for each one. Visit NKBA.org for full details and to apply.
There’s no pre-registration for these events, as the program is free to KBIS visitors, but exhibitors are responsible for recording attendance so NKBA members get their CEU credits.
Multiple timeslots in which to conduct the sessions are available, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
All presentations and demonstrations must be fully contained within the exhibitor’s contracted booth space and not spill out into the aisle or neighboring booths, nor disrupt neighboring exhibitors.
This is a tremendous opportunity to connect directly with show attendees, and best of all, it’s free publicity, builds awareness and good will for your brand, and provides a valuable service. Don’t miss out on this chance — it’s a win-win!
