The Fourth Annual Voices from the Industry Conference Program will Offer Comprehensive Learning and Professional Development Opportunities at KBIS 2016

The conference program will feature over 90 speakers representing all kitchen and bath industry segments and every level of professional

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (OCTOBER 8, 2015) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) fourth consecutive Voices from the Industry (VFTI) Conference Program to be held at the upcoming Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, Jan. 19-21, 2016. The conference will offer over 90 informative sessions with more than 70 qualifying for CEU credit from the NKBA. Some sessions also qualify for continuing education credits from other industry associations, including the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

The hour-long informational sessions are grouped into 11 conference blocks over three days and afford attendees the opportunity to learn from their industry peers on a variety of current topics and trends. The VFTI sessions are aligned to one of NKBA University’s learning paths: Design & Inspiration, Focus on the Customer, Business Management and Sales & Marketing.

Newly introduced this year is the remodeling track – specific VFTI sessions have been packaged together for industry professionals who work primarily on remodeling. All remodeler track sessions are to be held in room number N221 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“The variety of topics offered at the Voices from the Industry Conference program, provide unique opportunities for professional development,” Nancy Barnes, Director of Learning at the NKBA, said. “The NKBA is proud to offer such a large selection of speakers and presentations for KBIS attendees. Our hope is for attendees to leave with knowledge or new skills that help them advance their careers.”

Attendees can purchase a 3-Day, 2-Day or 1-Day VFTI pass for the conference sessions, which also includes a KBIS Expo pass. The KBIS Expo pass includes access to the exhibit floor of all Design & Construction Week® Shows, including the NAHB International Builders’ Show, International Window

Coverings Expo and The International Surface Event as well as admittance to the Opening Session on Tuesday morning.  New this year are NKBA Member Group Rates for parties of six people or more registering for a 3-Day VFTI pass.

“The conference allowed me to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist across multiple segments. I really enjoyed bringing value to the attendees and I’m hopeful they took away enough insight to create value back in their individual companies,” Craig Francisco, Senior Vice President of VT Industries, said on his 2015 VFTI presenting experience.

A full pricing chart for registration is available on the Attendee Pricing page on KBIS.com. For detailed descriptions of all VFTI conference sessions as well as speaker information, please visit KBIS.com.
