The NKBA Announces 2016 30 Under 30 Award Recipients
The NKBA has chosen 30 exceptional young professionals to explore the show floor and report on key industry trends at KBIS 2016 in Las Vegas, January 19 –21.
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (September 29, 2015) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) will recognize the 2016 30 Under 30 group at the upcoming Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS®), to be held January 19 – 21, 2016, in Las Vegas. The NKBA will not only acknowledge these talented young individuals, but also help them immerse and apply themselves to new opportunities for growth and development in support of the industry.
“For the fourth year in a row, we are excited to present our 30 Under 30 young professionals at KBIS 2016,” says Nancy Barnes, NKBA Director of Learning. “Each year we continue to be delighted by the success of the program, which brings together a group of bright, enthusiastic twenty-something entrepreneurs, forward-thinking CEOs, and cutting-edge designers. It is a privilege to work with them, and I’m looking forward to seeing them in Las Vegas.”
In a program called “Introductions to the Industry,” the 2016 30 Under 30 group will make its debut on the KBIS show floor, on January 19, at 10:15 a.m. at Center Stage, NKBA Booth #N2163. These young achievers will be honored amidst an extensive gathering of industry professionals.
Introduced in 2013, the NKBA 30 Under 30 program continues to capture the voice of the next generation of kitchen and bath professionals. The 30 young achievers will scour the show floor for innovations, trends and new technologies, as well as sustainable business practices and emerging business models and then share these insights with attendees.
At KBIS 2016, the newly inducted group will work on obtaining valuable information on a specific topic from exhibitor feedback and share their findings during a presentation on January 20 at Center Stage, NKBA Booth #N2163 on the show floor. In this lively session, the 30 Under 30 teams will present their research on critical kitchen and bath industry trends and answer questions regarding any issues that professionals face in their businesses.
