Architectural Specifications Manager – CertainTeed

Brooke started her career with interior design and business development experience in the NJ and NY A&D community and specifically focused on sustainable building and design practices. She has experience sourcing and selecting sustainable interior and exterior building materials for commercial and residential specifications. As an Architectural Specifications Manager for CertainTeed Architectural since 2015, she consults on acoustics, sustainability, and material selections in the NYC Metro area. Brooke is a LEED Accredited Professional in Interior Design and Construction & WELL Accredited Professional and has consulted on retail and other commercial LEED building projects. Prior to joining CertainTeed, Brooke enjoyed practicing interior design at Beaux Art Green LLC where they specialized in the usage of healthy and sustainable building practices and material selections for their clients.

Brooke Altidor presents USGBC and AIA continuing education units (CEU’s) on Indoor Air Quality, Acoustics, Sustainability and other related educational information to architects, designers, and contractors. She has been a member of the NJ Chapter of USGBC since 2007 and has represented the chapter at their exhibit booth space at events across NJ in the past. Brooke formerly served on the NJ Chapter Board.

She has also served on the Board as Director at Large for the NJ Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) which brings educational programs, events, and community service projects to their membership. She has been a contributor to the ASID Ask the Designer series in the Star Ledger and the ASID Insider magazine.
