This program explains how to create striking architectural photographs and what to look for when hiring a professional. You’ll see how some photographers get it wrong and how to avoid those mistakes.
Want to try it on your own? Learn from a designer who is also a professional photographer. With some investment, you don’t need to be pro to use their tricks. You’ll learn about good camera and lens combinations, simple lighting tricks, where to place your camera, what to focus on, post-processing, and even compositing multiple images.
During this session, you will:
- Discover basic photo composition and where you want to draw your audience’s eye.
- Explore how varying lenses and camera bodies will affect your image.
- Evaluate what to ask when hiring a professional architectural photographer.

Adam Gibson divides his time creating luxury homes, additions, kitchens and bathrooms, and professional photography. Tiring of spending thousands to photograph his work, he began an education on best architectural photography practices. His design is known for its clean lines, warmth, and infusion of natural light, which he captures in his photography. He shoots for architectural and lifestyle magazines and designers and builders.
Adam is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, has won numerous awards, and has been featured in national and international publications. He is an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
