THE ELLEN CHEEVER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
The Ellen Cheever Student Certification Scholarship is awarded to deserving NKBA student members from NKBA Affiliated Schools who are pursuing a course of study related to the kitchen and bath industry. Students will be chosen to receive a 3-Badge Bundle and a $2,000 scholarship.
Scholarship recipients receive the 3-Badge Bundle which includes:
- One full year NKBA Knowledge Base access
- Customized Specialty Badge study guides
- Exam fee for each Specialty Badge
- NKBA Specialty Badges Choices:
- Color, Cabinetry, Floor Plans & Specifications, Lighting, Remodeling, Sales & Marketing, Sustainability or Universal Design
Submission Process
The online form below should be completed by the student with all fields filled in. Submissions must be entered by October 31st.
The scholarship recipient will receive a travel package to attend KBIS inclusive of airfare, hotel and an expo pass.
Eligibility
To be eligible, the scholarship recipient must be an NKBA student member and a full-time student in good standing finishing their degree or certificate at an NKBA Affiliated School in the current school year.
Ellen Cheever
Ellen Cheever, CMKBD, ASID, CAPS, CLIPP, was in the kitchen and bath industry for nearly 50 years. A longtime dedicated member of NKBA, Cheever was renowned in the industry as a designer, author, educator and researcher. She taught countless designers and related industry professionals the art and science of kitchen and bathroom planning and design.
