The National Kitchen & Bath Association created this report to assist designers and specifiers in understanding the most popular styles and features throughout North America and provide an indicator of what’s trending for bathrooms in the next three years. The key objectives of the study are to reveal styles, features, and materials that are the most popular among professional designers and specifiers, and to identify categories and new products that have the most dramatic impact on today’s bathrooms.

The 2019 NKBA Design Trends Study surveyed 583 designers, remodelers, architects, dealers and manufacturers who are on the cutting edge of bathroom design. The results of this year’s study identify which bathroom styles will be the most popular over the next three years and the appliances, materials, finishes, colors and lighting which will be incorporated into these styles. Additionally, the study explores the technology solutions which will be integrated into new or remodeled bathrooms over the next three years.
