The 2020 NKBA Living Impacts Design study explores how the changing lifestyles of homeowners, as they relate to both functional and emotional needs, are influencing kitchen and bath designs. Over 750 North American designers, remodelers, architects, dealers and manufacturers were surveyed, sharing their best thoughts for the next three years. Four overarching themes emerged, including the concepts of Connected Living, Simplified Living, Healthy Living, and Living in Place. The report lists the most prominent design solutions for twenty distinct themes and includes verbatim suggestions from the industry’s most talented professionals.
