NKBA | KBIS’s 2022-2023 Student Design Competition, sponsored by Fisher & Paykel, celebrates the stars on the horizon of the kitchen and bath industry. The winners, who will be honored at the highly anticipated Kitchen & Bath Design + Industry Awards on February 26 at KBIS 2024 in Las Vegas, demonstrate that the future of the K&B industry is promising and bright. These individuals studying kitchen, bath and interior design presented a mix of practical function and creativity in solving their clients’ needs, and their efforts earned top honors from a team of NKBA | KBIS-certified judges.

For this year’s competition, the student design assignment was to complete renovations for a fictional couple with teenage children looking to make their kitchen a command center and their principal ensuite bath a place to “get away from it all.” Winners will be awarded scholarships of $5,000 for first place, $2,500 for second place and $1,000 for third place. Winning designs will be featured in KBB Magazine, and winners also receive complimentary registration and ticket to the KBIS 2024 expo in Vegas, admission to the Kitchen & Bath Design + Industry Awards, hotel accommodations and airfare.

Be sure to purchase your ticket for the Kitchen & Bath Design + Industry Awards and Opening Party, sponsored by Diamond Sponsors Material Bank and Miele, Platinum Sponsors Cyncly and Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery, Gold Sponsor Kichler Lighting, Mobile Tap Sponsor Perlick and Student Design Competition Sponsor Fisher & Paykel. Tickets to this formal gala are $150 and include the ceremony and party with an elaborate dinner buffet and open bar following the awards show.
