Here’s what will be sizzling in Sin City during KBIS 2024.

KBIS is returning to Las Vegas from February 27 to February 29, 2024, and Sin City will have even more debuts for trade show attendees to enjoy. With a record-setting spherical structure and priceless treasures from ancient Egypt on deck, here’s a look at trending attractions to check out.

New Entertainment Space: The Sphere

Scheduled to open on September 23, 2023 with a series of 25 concerts by U2, the highly anticipated Venetian Resort’s The Sphere will stand as the largest spherical structure in the world at 356 feet tall and 516 feet wide. It will have a capacity of 17,000 people and the world’s largest high-resolution wraparound screen, which will be 250 feet tall with 1.2 million LEDs. The screen will provide a great diversity of entertainment, including an inaugural immersive film experience by Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky and sports events where each fan will have internet access and individually-beamed sound at their seat.

New Restaurant: Cathédrale

Tao Group Hospitality’s Cathédrale restaurant, from the East Village’s Moxy Hotel, has made its way westward to Sin City. The Las Vegas version at the ARIA Resort & Casino, in a space by Rockwell Design, includes a stunning vaulted ceiling, soaring 26 feet up, after which the restaurant is named. Signature dishes on the French-Mediterranean menu include an omelet filled with crème fraiche and chives and topped with caviar, whole dover sole cooked in lemon caper butter, and a dry-aged ribeye smothered in sauce vert.

New Exhibit: Discovering King Tut’s Tomb

In celebration of the centennial of its discovery, an exhibit on the unearthing of the tomb of King Tutkanhamen is on display at the pyramidal Luxor Hotel and Casino. For $33, you can follow in the footsteps of Egypologist Howard Carter as he makes his historical discovery, via a walk-through multimedia experience with audio, video and replica artifacts, including nesting coffins and period art, that are officially approved by the government of Egypt.

New Game: Atomic Golf

From high atop the STRAT, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the country, golfers can now take their swings while playing interactive golfing games digital arcade. The 100,000-square-foot space also includes restaurants, lounges and a meeting area along with a digital screen that rises through all four levels of the building — and a total of six bars.

New Hotel: the Horseshoe

The hottest new hotel on the Strip, formerly Bally’s, features new restaurants such as Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen, as well as M.Y. Asia, the first Las Vegas restaurant from celebrity chef Martin Yan, which serves up Peking duck and orange chicken along with frequent noodle-pulling demonstrations. The eateries are paired with entertainment options available at the Ole Red, a rooftop country music venue owned by Blake Shelton, and Bottled Blonde, a 4-story, $50 million entertainment venue with drink options that include a 128 oz. beer tower and mimosa pyramids built around bottles of champagne.

New Show (and Distillery Tour): Lost Spirits

Take a step back into the Prohibition era at this combination of distillery, nightclub and immersive show where guests roam around an elaborate labyrinth with circus-like décor, weaving in and out of rooms to sample rums and participate in performances from singers and acrobats. Cocktails are courtesy of Alex Velez from Netflix’s Drink Masters competition, while other attractions include a 16-course dinner, a séance and ghost stories.
