The showpiece of the space is a highly polished, 300-pound chamcha wood root console table that she turned into a vanity. Echoing the rocks and boulders on the property is a white bronze vessel sink in an organic shape, situated on top of the vanity. The wall-mounted matte black faucet against the mirrored wall appears to float above the sink. Bauerle mirrored the entire main wall of the small space to provide an illusion of depth, and she covered the remaining walls and sloped ceiling in patterned black wallpaper with lines resembling a topography map; floor tile looks like old blackened barnwood. The designer staggered pendant lights to clear the main viewing area above the sink and balance the asymmetrical cantilevered end of the vanity base, and a  cashmere finish helps the toilet blend into the space. Finally, artwork depicting an elk emerging from mist added the ideal finishing touch for the mountain retreat.
