Architectural Digest, one of the world’s leading design and architecture media platforms, called KBIS the “point of discovery for new products and features” for the kitchen and bath in a comprehensive pre-show guide and recap of major trends after the annual mega-event took place in Las Vegas Jan. 31-Feb. 2.

Dropping a few names of major exhibitors — from Kohler to Cosentino, House of Rohl to Brizo and more — AD said on its AD Pro website that as an anchor of Design & Construction Week, KBIS was the place to scope out the latest product debuts and technological advancements in numerous home categories, and that the show presented opportunities for personal discussion with industry innovators. “Let’s face it: talking one-on-one with the team of designers and engineers behind modern appliances is much more interesting than deciphering their instruction manuals.” Read more about the overall show experience here.

After its editors walked the massive expo, the platform weighed in on six emerging directions in kitchens gleaned from KBIS 2023, from graphite nickel finishes to color in the kitchen and expansive appliance walls. Read more about the trends here.
