Program Description
The CKBD Study Program is designed for candidates who wish to better understand the material within the CKBD Examination Process by filling in their knowledge gaps and who also wish to improve their professional practice. The lessons and modules will benefit candidates who are preparing for the written examination and the portfolio submission by formatting content and material pertaining to the Definition of a Kitchen & Bath Designer. Candidates should already have attained their work experience and education, depending on their pathway to certification, and should be willing to complete the CKBD Examination and Portfolio Submission within one (1) year of purchase of this program.
Candidates proceed at their own pace and without instruction by covering twelve (12) core lessons using prepared materials and videos, scenarios and examples, and practice tests. The CKBD Study Program relies on self-evaluation and individual responsibility to review, assess, and apply their learned knowledge pertinent to the practice of residential kitchen and bath design.
After completing this program, candidates will be able to:
- Improve their professional residential kitchen and bath design practice.
- Apply their learned knowledge through practice testing.
- Understand the requirements for a Portfolio Submission in the CKBD Examination.
- Prepare to take the written portion of the CKBD Examination.
