As I was driving into work this morning, I passed through thick fog that you could barely see into, blue skies, and seeing the burnt orange and red leaves reminding me how quickly things can change.  This made me think back over the past year.  How foggy everything was with business, product availability and pricing.  Reminded me that if we stay on path and weather the storm, we will all have brighter days ahead.

We have all had our struggles over the past year plus.  No matter the size they all took a toll on our work and personal life.  With the holiday season coming I hope well take time to reflect and take advantage of being able to celebrate together once again as we did years ago (probably not in a new kitchen unless you ordered in July 😊).  Enjoy families, laughter, and a much need break from the craziness of the world if just for a moment.

Along with everything else, NKBA Wisconsin/Upper Michigan will also undergo some changes with the year ending.  I would like to say thank you to Denise Merbeth, Communications Chair, for all your support and guidance over the years you have been part of the chapter council.  Also, a thank you and good luck to Kelsey Holtz/Barrett, Programs Chair, for all your hard work and dedication to helping create virtual and finally in person meetings during difficult times.  Again, thank you both and wish you luck in the future.

As we wrap up the year, we hope to see you at either Terrazzo & Marble Supply in October, or at our Bubbles and Bowties year end Gala in December.

Best Wishes,

Mike
