What could be better than spending a wonderful fall day with 75 new (and old) friends while you learn and tour Northern Michigan wine country? Let's add lunch, dinner, and door prizes to sweeten the deal. For the second year in a row, the Northern and West Michigan chapters of NKBA worked together to plan and execute a fantastic fall event with something for everyone.

The day started early for some West Michigan members who opted to take our luxury car-pool, but they were greeted with an incredible sunrise and northern Michigan fall color. Meeting at the Ferguson Showroom, members were able to reconnect with old acquaintances, network with new connections, and tour the expansive showroom. Native Trails and Toto both offered CEU presentations on "Luxury bathroom features" and "designing for living in place". Guests rotated between classes to ensure a class size that allowed for audience engagement.

After learning and lunch, the group met at the Cambria/ Blasius showroom to load up on seven tour buses that would take them on a tour of 3 separate wineries and distilleries in the Grand Traverse area. The buses hosted up to 14 attendees each, who had a wonderful time and traveled with charcuterie snacks for the ride! With many of the buses hitting different stops, there was plenty to compare notes on at the end of the day when the group reconviened at the Cambria showroom for a light dinner topped off with custom NKBA logo macarons.

Thank you to the members of both chapters who worked hard to plan and create such a wonderful experience for our members and guests!
